In the mid 70’s, Carmelo ‘d-Donc’ Attard and Frans Schembri formed and managed teams of U/16 that took part in U/16’s leagues. First they participated in Friendship Leagues and then in the Ministry of Sports Leagues under the name of ‘Qormi Young Boys’. Later they formed an U14 team where they amalgamated with Qormi Rockers. They won their first U/14 League way back in 1982/1983. The Goalposts were at that time manned by Tommy Camilleri, who became Qormi’s FC goalkeeper for several years.

In the early 1980’s, Mario Axiaq with his committee and later on Francis Zammit started the Nursery running with younger ages, both these gentleman rising to top MFA and Youth Committee Posts. Hello world

Our nursery is currently situated in Valletta Road, a complex which comprises a 7 aside synthetic turf pitch, 5 a side synthetic turf pitch, 3 a side synthetic turf pitch and 8 a side sand pitch, a bar, two dressing rooms, premises entailing of boardroom, small lecture room and kitchenette. The nursery also has an equipped washroom for its gears cleaning needs.

We have currently embarked on an ambitious project to further extend our premises to two further dressing rooms, a clinic, an entertainment hall and admistration offices.

The Nursery has 16 qualified coaches who work with the different age groups, from Under 6 to Under 17 including a qualified Goal Keeper Instructor Mr Mark Vella, Co-ordination Trainer Mr Eric Schembri, Head Coach Mr Edward Micallef and Technical Advisor Mr Emanuel Fabri (Player of the Year 1981 / 1982).

Our committee, coaches and parents work together as a close knit team to ensure that our kids benefit from the best possible opportunities. Our motto is “Lejali mit-Tfulija”.
